Google just sent the invites for their October 4 event. It will be held in San Francisco at 9 AM PT.

The search giant has already started their marketing campaign and created a sign up and landing page for the event, they’ve also released a video with the title “Funny you should ask…” to stir up interest in the product and event.

The search giant is expected to announce the successor to it’s Pixel and Pixel XL smartphone, which was announced last October 4, 2016, exactly a year ago.

It’s been rumored the Pixel 2 powered by Qualcom’s Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM, with pressure sensitive sides, and IP68 water and dust resistance, running Android Oreo with an always-on display.

Another interesting information about the upcoming Google Pixel is that the Pixel 2 will be manufactured by HTC, while Pixel 2 XL will be coming from LG. Of course we can talk all these information with a grain of salt, since nothing is official until Google makes it official and like what their twitter account said, answer all your questions.
