The screen sharing feature is only available for Google Chrome browser Users, when users hit the “Share Screen” button within the Facebook Live interface, you will be prompted to install the “Facebook Screen Sharing” extension. Once installed, you will have teh ability to specify window/application to share/stream, you also stream specific tabs.
Facebook Live users previously used Open Broadcaster Software in order to share their screen, with the addition of the screen-sharing feature, Facebook is cutting any 3rd party application and the complexity of sharing their screen on Facebook Live.
