If you thought that all you can do with the iPhone X’s TrueDepth camera is for Face ID and Animoji, well apparently you can also make your face invisible. That’s what Japanese app developer Kazuya Noshiro demonstrated in a video that he tweeted.
The ten-second video (below) shows Noshiro moving his ‘invisible’ face around to reveal the images of his home through his head. The effect is similar to Harry Potter’s cloak of invisibility but instead it looks like a see-through face mask.

In a succeeding tweet by Noshiro, the app was created using game development platform Unity, and a fixed camera position to shoot a background in order to create the invisible illusion. It unclear that will be the final product of his app and when it will available but since it’s using the Unity platform, it could be part of a much larger iOS game that will be exclusive for iPhone X.
