Twitter just announced ‘threads’, a new features that allows users to post connected tweets or in other words tweetstorms. Before increasing the character limit per tweet to 280, users resort to tweetstorms in order to share longer train of thoughts.
To create your twitter thread, you just need to click or tap the new “Add another Tweet” button that you will see next to the TWEET button.
On a blogpost, twitter said;
We’ve made it easy to create a thread by adding a plus button in the composer, so you can connect your thoughts and publish your threaded Tweets all at the same time. You can continue adding more Tweets to your published thread at any time with the new “Add another Tweet” button. Additionally, it’s now simpler to spot a thread – we’ve added an obvious “Show this thread” label.
Twitter Threads is now available on the iOS and Android app of twitter, as well as twitter.com.
