Leaked by Chinese smartphone case-maker, Lenuo, images of its upcoming case for the Huawei P20, which clearly shows that the phone will feature a vertical triple-camera setup.
It’s been reported that Huawei will unveil the world’s first smartphone with a triple-camera system in Paris in March 27. In an article on Forbes, “the P20 will indeed be the world’s first smartphone with 3 rear cameras for a total resolution of 40 megapixels and capable of a 5X hybrid zoom (optical and digital), while the front of the device will feature an amazing 24 megapixels selfie camera (versus just 7 megapixels for the iPhone X), all co-developed with high-end German camera manufacturer Leica.”
As great as the rear camera, Huawei’s front camera will be as great, calling it “Point Cloud Depth Camera” which will work like Apple’s “TrueDepth Camera” system and will be used for facial recognition and a physical fingerprint scanner on the home button.
