After dropping the teaser trailer, we now have the full trailer of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the second spin off film to the Star Wars franchise.
The film focuses on the life of young Han Solo and his adventures with his Wookiee partner Chewbacca. Set before the events of the original 1977 film Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope, it explores the life and adventures of a young Han Solo and Chewbacca, including meeting Lando Calrissian and how he became the owner of the Millennium Falcon.
The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Solo, alongside Woody Harrelson as Beckett, Emilia Clarke who plays Qi’ra or Kira, Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissian and the original owner of the Millennium Falcon, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, and Paul Bettany who will play as an undisclosed character.
Like the Rogue One, Solo’s trailer has a different feel even though there’s no light saber battle, it has that gangster / heist flick vibe, with plenty of gun, or should I say laser fights, some space battle and giant tentacles.
Despite some production problem, this trailer justify the director change that was made even though they already have more than four-and-a-half months of shooting and three-and-a-half weeks of scheduled principal photography. Ron Howard took over the directing duties from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
Solo: A Star Wars Story will be in theaters 25th of May.
